Horse Training

Whether you are a beginner looking into riding or an advanced hunter/jumper competitor, Lesley Cox Equestrian has something for you. Lessons are personalized to your individual goals, taking into account your dominant learning method. There are 4 methods of learning which include visual, auditory, read-write, and kinesthetic and LCE will personalize our training methods in such a way that you are able to easily comprehend what is being taught. Our goal at LCE is to see you excel to the best of your ability while staying focused on positivity and safety while you enjoy continued success as a rider. Group and private lessons are available on a regular basis and we offer the use of our seasoned lesson horses to get you started.

Horse Shows

LCE works with horses at all training levels, from the horse that has been under saddle 60 days to the seasoned show horse. We offer full training programs, show ring experience, and the occasional tune-up ride. The approach we take in training and schooling each horse is never one of a “cookie-cutter” nature. Just like we take into account each rider’s individual learning methods, each horse’s disposition, conformation, and background are also taken into account as they progress through their training and education.

Horse Riding Lessons

No matter what your show level is, LCE is committed to attending competitions as a measure of the true progress you and your horse have made at home. With a quality over quantity approach, LCE emphasizes riding progression at home while perfecting new skills before going into the competition arena. We attend horse shows on a regular basis, however, we do not show just to show, we show to compete! The welfare of the horse and the rider is always put first.

Through an extensive list of contacts that Lesley has developed throughout the years, you can be confident that you are in good hands. When Lesley helps clients buy and sell horses, she prides herself on being honest and straightforward throughout the entire process, while always looking out for her client’s best interest.

LCE offers consignment services that include advertising, boarding, and training of your horse throughout the sale process. We maintain regular contact with a network of trainers who are consistently seeking out horses or ponies for their clients.
